Why is the ocean friendly?

A very bad joke to announce I now have a Google Wave account. (Though I don't seem to be able to invite others.) If you have one we can try it out. (An activity completely unrelated to our course.)

    What is googlewave? I tried looking it up online and the webpage seems to be on maintenance when I tried looking for it.

    The pernicious explanation is that this is Google's attempt at World domination via its next generation software that is not yet ready for prime time.

    A more benign explanation can be viewed in this YouTube movie. There are many more movies of this sort on YouTube.
